Leadership Prayer Breakfast – February, date varies
Elected officials, public servants, and the business community are invited to a complimentary breakfast with speakers who encourage and inspire. Sponsored by Benton City Faith Council (ministerial association).

Red Wine and Chocolate – Valentines Day weekend, February
Special tastings and pairings with chocolate at wineries from Yakima to the Tri-Cities. Sponsored by Wine Yakima Valley.

Children’s Easter Egg Hunt – Saturday before Easter Sunday, date varies
Thousands of eggs with candy and prizes for kids 12 and under, pictures with the Easter Bunny, and barbecue. Sponsored by Benton City Lions Club, find them on Facebook.

Community Easter Sunrise Service – Easter Sunday, date varies
Everybody invited to attend 7:00 am service held at Ki-Be High School football field. Sponsored by Benton City Faith Council.

Benton City Spring Opener Car & Bike Show – fourth Saturday of April
Annual fundraising event to benefit Benton City youth activities and education. Founded in 2006, this event features some of the finest automobiles in the area as well as a growing field of entries from local military vehicle collectors.

Ki-Be Bears All School Reunion Picnic – Saturday before Memorial Day, May
Reunion and potluck for anyone who has attended Ki-Be schools, faculty, staff, family and community.  Ki-Be All School Reunion on Facebook

Memorial Day Service – last Monday of May
Commemoration of Memorial Day held at Evergreen Cemetery. Sponsored by Benton City/Richland Post 115 of the American Legion.

Citywide Yard Sale – second Saturday of June
Dozens of sales all over town, plus multiple sellers in City Park. Maps of registered sales are available for shoppers. Sponsored by Benton City Chamber of Commerce.

4th of July Celebration – July 4
Flag raising ceremony in City Park at 9:00 am, pancake breakfast, and children’s parade at 11:00 am sponsored by Benton City Chamber of Commerce. Family fun and barbecue beginning at 4:00 pm, fireworks show at dusk at the Benton City Lions Club’s Field of Dreams.

Benton City Daze – first Saturday of August
Pancake breakfast; Grand Parade at 10:00 am; Little Miss Benton City pageant at 12:00 noon. Vendors, food, entertainment and other activities throughout the day. Street dance in the evening. Sponsored by Benton City Chamber of Commerce.

Red Mountain AVA Block Party – last Saturday in September
Special tastings, meet the growers and winemakers, walks and hikes in the vineyards of the renowned Red Mountain AVA. Sponsored by Red Mountain AVA Alliance.

Catch the Crush – second weekend of October
Celebrate the harvest at wineries from Yakima to the Tri-Cities with grape stomps and other crush activities, tours, live music, food, and wine tastings. Sponsored by Wine Yakima Valley.

Downtown Trick or Treat – October 31
Local businesses and the City of Benton City provide a fun and safe environment for children to celebrate Halloween.

WinterFest – second Saturday of December
One of the area’s largest holiday bazaars, children’s activities and more. The day concludes with the Lighted Parade featuring entries from thoughout the Yakima Valley. Sponsored by Benton City Chamber of Commerce.
